Currently, Uber seems to be the target of a major cyberattack. On Saturday, a threat actor “UberLeaks”, started posting information on a hacking forum known for disclosing data breaches.
The hack includes information on IT assets obtained from a third-party vendor, company reports, and employee email addresses.
The exposed data includes many archives that claim to be the source code for mobile device management systems (MDM) used by Uber, Uber Eats, and other third-party vendor services.
For each MDM platform deployment it has breached, the “UberLeak” hacker generated four topics on the hacker forum.
