The breach was confirmed after suspicious activity was detected on the platform’s database. Meanwhile, no confirmation has been made regarding leaks of other personal information and access to private media libraries.
The streaming company also revealed that financial information was secure as the details were not stored on the servers. The cause of the breach was identified by the company, and steps are underway to minimize further damage.
